1. Melton Farms Ltd

2. Willmott Dixon-Grange School, Ealing
Willmott Dixon were contracted to demolish and rebuild Grange School. Part of their remit was to supply 685m2 of temporary classroom facilities. "Very quickly we realised the site was a logistical nightmare" says Steve Harnet, construction manager. "The only access was through a residential street. To make matters worse the entrance to the school was unsuitable for HGV access. The situation was further complicated by resident parking restrictions, abnormal load restrictions and the fact that only one delivery vehicle could arrive at the site at any one time".

When the delivery date arrived, Carter Cabin Hire had 18 staff working against the clock to complete the installation before the end of the half term. Despite the complexity of the installation and the tight time schedule, Carter Cabin Hire completed on time."

Premier Foods-Bury St Edmunds
After a fire ravaged much of their factory in late 2004, "Things were very difficult" so says Steve Hulse, manager at Premier Foods. One quick call to Carter Cabin Hire and they swung into action. Within days they had delivered multiple units for use as stores, offices, changing rooms, toilets and welfare facilities. "As you can imagine it was pretty chaotic" says Steve, "But I was very impressed by the standard of units and the calm efficient manner of their drivers, nothing was too much trouble for them. I have been so delighted by Carter Cabin Hire that I'm now using them on other sites. I had an urgent requirement for a 20 x 9 recently. I rang at 4pm on a Friday and I took delivery of a brand new unit the very next day at 8am on a Saturday. Very impressive!"
